YOUTH will eat at Buffalo Wild Wings
Waller Youth will meet immediately after the morning worship to go by the Waller Bus to Buffalo Wild Wings on the Boardwalk for a Dutch Treat lunch. Brother Danny will have them back at the church
between 1:30 & 2:00 PM.

Precepts Discipleship Study
Elaine Wreyford will teach a 4-week study on the Book of Titus beginning TODAY at 4:15PM. Books will cost $6. Precept Studies are about discovering Truth for yourself. Join us as we develop these study skills through the study of Paul’s epistle to Titus–Developing Character and Integrity in the Midst of a Society which has lost Respect for God.    Childcare will be provided.

Children’s Mission Organizations to Resume Tonight!
The following Missions Organizations will resume this evening at 6:30PM:
RA’s -    Boys, Grades 1-6
Mission Friends - Boys & Girls, ages 4 & 5
GA’s - Girls, Grades 1-6
ACTEENs - Girls, Grades 7-12

FAITH Evangelism BEGINS Tonight!
Would you like to learn a simple, but meaningful gospel presentation that will allow you to experience the joy of seeing people come to know the Savior and of helping others grow in their walk with Him? FAITH Evangelism Training will begin TODAY at 4PM. This 12 week course will offer one hour of training each week,  followed by the opportunity to put that training into practice by making home visits. (Visitation Teams will NOT go out this week)

Children’s Choirs Begin Today!
Choirs for children in Grades 1-3 will begin today at 5PM. A choir for children ages 4 & 5 will also begin at that time.

Men’s Fish Fry @ Camp Bethany
The annual Fish Fry for Men sponsored by the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association will be held at Camp Bethany on Monday, September 8th beginning at 5:30PM.  Cost - $7. The Waller bus will leave our parking lot at 5PM.

Golden Pioneers to Depart for Little Rock on Tuesday
Those senior adults who have signed up for the overnight trip to Little Rock need to be at the Church by 9:45 AM on Tuesday, September 9th for a 10AM departure..  They will attend a dinner theater and visit the Clinton Library before returning on Wednesday.

Dr. Cliff’s Class @ the Association
Dr. Cliff’s class at the Association Office will begin Monday, September 8th at 6:30.   The cost is $20.00.   Call the church office or visit www.nwlba.org for more info.

Seminary Extension Center Semester to Begin
The Fall Semester of the Seminary Extension Center at Waller will begin Tuesday the 9th.

NEW AWANA HOURS THIS YEAR!
AWANA will begin at 5:30PM and conclude at 7:30PM.  This schedule change has been made in order to better coordinate the use of the RAC on Wednesday nights.   Children whose parents are in Worship Choir Rehearsal will be cared for until 8PM.

Bridal Shower for Alisha Phillips- September 9th
The ladies of Waller are invited to a bridal shower for Alisha Phillips, bride elect of Johnny Sloan. The shower will be held at 6:30PM on Tuesday, September 9th in the Fellowship Hall. Alisha is registered at WalMart, Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Handbell Rehearsals to Resume Next Sunday
If you can read music and would like to be a part of our Handbell Choir, meet with Brother Brian at 4PM on Sunday, September 14th. Rehearsals will be each Sunday at 4PM.

Georgia Barnett State Missions Goal for Waller is $1,000.

I Was in prison and you visited me….
Waller Mission Organizations will participate in the Gift Box Distribution for the inmates at Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women. The Gift Box Distribution which is sponsored by  Louisiana Baptists will attempt to prepare 1300 gift boxes for the women in the Institute. You can help by contributing the following items which will be taken to the Baptist Building in Alexandria on September 22nd:
Shampoo (15-20 oz size - plastic bottle; no alcohol content.
Solid or roll-on deodorant 2.0-3.5 plastic bottle
Lotion - 8-11 oz. Size in plastic bottle
Toothpaste - 6-9 oz. Size
Tooth brush - adult size (must be in original wrapper; only
one toothbrush, per wrapper)
Bar of soap - 4-5oz size
Ball point pen - must have a top (like Bic pens) - no springs
or clickers
Socks - new women’s white, colored or printed (please
remove plastic tags, paper, etc & fold together
as a pair)

If you know someone who needs to know the Lord or who is looking for a church home, and you would like to have one of our FAITH teams contact them…fill out a blue card located in the pew rack and drop it in the offering plate.

Diaper Donations Needed
The Senior Ladies Sunday School Classes are collecting diapers for the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
